No. Outside speakers are not allowed at any NALA venue. Music is played through each venue’s built-in sound system, and you can connect your own phone or device by Bluetooth.
DJs are welcome at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, playing through the venue’s built-in sound system. DJs are not allowed at Nala’s Party Room. Bands and live performances are not permitted at any NALA venue.
Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue are $60/hour on weekdays until 5PM, $100/hour Monday to Thursday after 5PM, $160/hour on Friday evenings after 5PM, $180/hour all day Saturday and $140/hour all day Sunday, plus a flat $60 cleaning fee. Nala’s Party Room is $40/hour Monday to Friday, $70/hour on Saturday and $50/hour on Sunday, plus a flat $50 cleaning fee. Events have a 4-hour minimum, and there are no per-guest fees. An optional security attendant is $20/hour at every venue.
Nala’s Party Room holds up to 40 guests, and Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue each hold up to 80 guests.
Yes. All NALA venues are BYOB, and outside food and catering are welcome. Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue have full kitchens where cooking is allowed. Nala’s Party Room has a kitchenette and a catering prep area, not a full kitchen, so it works best with prepared food and catering.
Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue can be booked from 7AM to midnight Sunday to Thursday, and until 1AM on Friday and Saturday. Nala’s Party Room can be booked from 7AM to midnight every day.
Events have a 4-hour minimum. Shorter bookings may be possible at the venue’s discretion: for photo shoots, content creation and small meetings at Montrose Studio and 3535 Venue, and for photo shoots and content creation at Nala’s Party Room. Call (312) 815-6917 to check your date.
Street parking is available at all NALA venues. Montrose Studio also has a private lot you can add to your booking.
Yes. Tours are available any day a venue isn’t in use for an event, 8AM to 6:30PM, with no appointment needed. Just call (312) 815-6917 shortly before heading over and we’ll arrange access for you.

Cancel 90 or more days before your event for a full refund, or 14 to 89 days before for a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 14 days before the event are not refundable.
